Team Villageous hard at work
Here’s a photo of Team Villageous doing live social media coverage of a client’s event. We’re Tweeting our fingers to the bone – with support from our mascot, Lucy!

Round-Up
Typing “Round-Up” into the subject line of this blog entry reminded me of this great EDS commercial from a few years ago. It still makes me laugh every time.
At any rate, Round-Up will be an occasional feature here on Villageous.com where we highlight things happening in social media that are of interest to us. So here we go.
A LOVE NOTE FROM THE FTC: Starting in December, the FTC will require all bloggers and social media users to disclose payments from companies for reviewing their products. This ruling has far reaching implications. Everyone needs to get familiar ASAP.
TOOTING OUR OWN HORN: One of our websites, CenPho.com, was featured in the October 2009 issue of US Airways Magazine. It was cited as “a site all Phoenix city readers should bookmark.” **blush**
SOMETHING FUN TO DO: Tomorrow U2 will live stream their concert in Los Angeles on YouTube. With this, YouTube continues pushing into the live streaming market, and U2 continues pushing entertainment boundaries.
Villageous Twitter Guide
I know there are already many Twitter Guides floating around the Interweb, but recently I’ve had several friends and clients ask me to explain Twitter. So I’ve compiled my tips and advice into a document I could easily share with people as I’m walking them through the ins and outs of life as a Tweeter.
For your viewing enjoyment, click here to download the Villageous Twitter Guide. This is a constantly evolving document. If you have any feedback, let me know.
You can also find more extensive Twitter tips, ideas and advice at Twitter.com and Mashable.com.
