Misty Wickizer-Jernigan

Misty Wickizer-Jernigan is a seasoned marketing and communications professional who brings a wealth of project management skills to the Villageous team.
Previously, Misty was the Production Manager for the Goldwater Institute, a conservative non-profit think-tank in Arizona. In her role as Production Manager, Misty was responsible for coordinating all published materials, ranging from policy reports and quarterly newsletters to direct mail campaigns and the Institute’s annual report. Additionally, Misty was the administrator of the organization’s donor database and oversaw the Institute’s speaker’s bureau and complimentary membership program.
Prior to that, Misty was a Senior Account Executive at DCI Group, where she worked with trade associations and fortune 100 clients to develop, execute and oversee grassroots marketing and communications strategies designed to get their message out. During her five years with DCI Group, Misty also spent one year as the Features Manager for TCSDaily.com, an online opinion journal that featured original content and analysis on policy issues around the globe.
In addition to working for the Border Trade Alliance and the Health Industry Business Communications Council, Misty has done independent contract work for various organizations, including Universal Technical Institute and Direct Response Group.
Misty holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Politics and a Bachelor of Arts degree in English, both from Arizona State University – West. She resides “just this side of Disneyland” with her husband and their four-legged “kids.”
